What this one is for

A 60 second timer is the minute plank, the rest between heavy sets, and the round break in boxing. One minute is the smallest unit that feels like a real effort.

Sixty seconds is also green tea, a full minute of silence you did not plan on, and the classic test of whether you can sit still.

Space starts and pauses. The tab title carries the count and a beep marks zero.

Good for

  • The one minute plank
  • Rest between heavy sets
  • Boxing round breaks
  • Steeping green tea

03

How it runs

Counts down 1 min, then beeps. Press Start, or hit Space. The digits turn green while a work block runs and grey on rest.

Sound is on by default: a rising pair for work, a falling pair for rest, a tick for the last three seconds and a three-note finish. Mute with the speaker button. The screen stays on while the timer runs and the tab title shows the time left.

Change anything in Settings under the timer. The last setup you used on this page is remembered in your browser.

Questions people ask

Is this the same as the 1 minute timer?
Yes, sixty seconds and one minute are the same countdown. Use whichever page you found first.
Will it still beep if I switch tabs?
The countdown stays correct because it reads timestamps, and the beep plays while the tab is open or as soon as you return.
Can I repeat it for rest between sets?
Yes, the interval timer loops work and rest so you are not restarting after every set.
Do I need an account?
No login and no install. It works offline after the first load.
