What this one is for
Three minutes on, one minute off is the professional standard: 12 rounds for a title fight, fewer for club shows. Amateurs box 3 x 3 minutes. This timer is set to 12 rounds and you can stop whenever you like.
Use it for bag work, pads, shadow boxing or sparring. The work beep is a rising pair, the rest beep is a falling pair, and the last three seconds of every round tick. Turn on fullscreen and prop the phone against the mirror.
For a 10 second warning before the bell, the way gyms use a clapper, that is on the list. For now the last-3-second ticks do the job.

3 min work, 1 min rest, 12 rounds. 47 min 10 sec total. Starts with a 10 sec get-ready count. Press Start, or hit Space. The digits turn green while a work block runs and grey on rest.
Sound is on by default: a rising pair for work, a falling pair for rest, a tick for the last three seconds and a three-note finish. Mute with the speaker button. The screen stays on while the timer runs and the tab title shows the time left.
Change anything in Settings under the timer. The last setup you used on this page is remembered in your browser.
Questions people ask
- How many rounds should I do?
- Beginners: 3 to 6 rounds of bag work. Amateur fight prep: 6 to 8. Pro-style sessions: 10 to 12. Set Rounds in the settings, or leave it at 12 and stop when you are done.
- Can I do 2 minute rounds?
- Yes. Change Work to 2:00. Women’s pro boxing and many amateur formats use 2 minute rounds with 1 minute rest.
- Does it sound like a bell?
- Not quite. The sounds are generated tones, not a bell sample, so the site works offline and loads instantly. The work tone is distinct enough to hear over a bag.
- Will the screen stay on for 12 rounds?
- Yes. The timer holds a screen wake lock while running, and falls back to a hidden looping video on browsers without one. 48 minutes at full brightness will eat some battery.
