What this one is for
A 30 second timer is where most planks begin and a lot of them end. Half a minute is the standard station length in circuit training and the work bout in the 30/30 and 30/10 formats.
Thirty seconds is also a stretch hold, the rinse on a pour over, and long enough to be uncomfortable in an ice bath.
Space starts and pauses. It beeps at zero and the screen stays on while your hands are busy.

How it runs
Counts down 30 sec, then beeps. Press Start, or hit Space. The digits turn green while a work block runs and grey on rest.
Sound is on by default: a rising pair for work, a falling pair for rest, a tick for the last three seconds and a three-note finish. Mute with the speaker button. The screen stays on while the timer runs and the tab title shows the time left.
Change anything in Settings under the timer. The last setup you used on this page is remembered in your browser.
Questions people ask
- Can I repeat 30 seconds on and off?
- Yes, the interval timer loops work and rest pairs with beeps so you can leave it running through the whole circuit.
- Will it still beep if my phone screen dims?
- The timer keeps correct time from timestamps regardless. The wake lock holds the screen on while the tab is in the foreground, and the beep plays when the tab is open or as soon as you return.
- Can I change it to 45 seconds?
- Yes, edit the duration on the timer or open the 45 second page.
- Is it free?
- Yes. No account and nothing to download.
