Meditation

Set a duration and a bell interval.

A soft bell every 10 minutes. One at the end.

30 minute meditation timer with bells every 10

A soft bell every 10 min for 30 min, then one to finish.

What this one is for

This thirty-minute session is divided by bells at ten and twenty minutes, with an end bell at thirty. The main clock continues through all three parts.

For example, you could use one part for noticing physical sensations, one for the breath and one for noticing sounds. This is only a possible sequence. Keep one practice throughout if that fits better, and use fewer bells if the reminders become distracting.

Good for

  • Three equal parts of a practice
  • A planned change at ten and twenty minutes
  • One continuous session with optional reminders

How it runs

A soft bell every 10 min for 30 min, then one to finish. Press Start, or hit Space. The phase word and icon above the progress bar tell you where you are.

Start, interval and end bells have independent switches. Only enabled bells play; interval bells do not restart the session clock. Sound off mutes audio, though supported devices may still vibrate.

Keep the page visible for cues. The timer requests an awake screen, but the browser can refuse it or delay background sound. For offline use, load this exact page online and test a reload without a connection before relying on it.

Change the settings before starting. Durations use minutes. This page opens with its preset each visit; the main timer page remembers your valid settings.

Common questions

What does the bell sound like?

It’s one soft tone made in your browser. You’ll hear it three times: at ten, twenty and thirty minutes. Each strike means one part has ended, which suits a body scan, breath, open awareness plan.

How do I know which segment I am in?

Count the bells, which is easy with only three. If you open your eyes, the screen also shows the time left and the current session progress.

Can I change the interval?

Yes, above the Start button. Set it to 15 minutes for two halves instead of three parts. Set it to 30 to hear only the end bell.

Can I make the bells silent?

Sound off mutes the bell but may leave vibration enabled on supported devices. Test your phone before relying on a silent cue; a muted timer does not guarantee a vibration alert.
